【摘要】:Thisguidehelpsthosestudyingoxygensystemincidentstoselectadirectcausehypothesisandtoavoidconclusionsbasedonhypotheses,howeverplausible,thathaveprovenfaultyinthepast.1.1Thisguidecoversproceduresandmaterialforexaminingfiresinoxygensystemsforthepurposesofidentifyingpotentialcausesandpreventingrecurrence.1.2Thisguideisnotcomprehensive.Theanalysisofoxygenfireincidentsisnotascience,anddefinitivecauseshavenotbeenestablishedforsomeevents.1.3Theproceduresandanalysesinthisguidehavebeenfoundtobeusefulforinterpretingfireevents,forhelpingidentifypotentialcauses,andforexcludingotherpotentialcauses.Theinclusionoromissionofanyanalyticalstrategyisnotintendedtosuggesteitherapplicabilityorinapplicabilityofthatmethodinanyactualincidentstudy.Note18212;Althoughthisguidehasbeenfoundapplicableforassistingqualifiedtechnicalpersonneltoanalyzeincidents,eachincidentisuniqueandmustbeapproachedasauniqueevent.Therefore,theselectionofspecifictacticsandthesequenceofapplicationofthosetacticsmustbeconsciousdecisionsofthosestudyingtheevent.Note28212;Theincidentmayrequiretheformationofateamtoprovidethenecessaryexpertiseandexperiencetoconductthestudy.Thepersonnelanalyzinganincident,oratleastonememberoftheteam,shouldknowtheprocessunderstudyandtheequipmentinstallation.1.4Warning8212;Duringcombustion,gases,vapors,aerosols,fumes,orcombinationsthereof,areevolved,whichmaybepresentandmaybehazardoustopeople.Cautionx2014;Adequateprecautionsshouldbetakentoprotectthoseconductingastudy.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
