【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethods,ahot-millmethodandanovenmethod,forthedeterminationofmoistureandothervolatile-mattercontentinrawrubbers.Thesemethodsareapplicabletothedeterminationofthevolatile-mattercontentintheR-groupofrubberslistedinISO1629whicharerubbershavinganunsaturatedcarbonchain,forexample,naturalrubberandsyntheticrubbersderivedatleastpartlyfromdiolefins.ThisInternationalStandardmayalsobeapplicabletootherrubbers,butinthesecasesitisnecessarytoprovethatthechangeinmassisduesolelytolossoforiginalvolatilematterandnottorubberdegradation.Thehot-millmethodisnotapplicabletonaturalandsyntheticisoprenerubbersortorubberstoodifficulttohandleonahotmillortorubbersinpowderedorchipform.Thetwotestmethodsdonotnecessarilygiveidenticalresults.Therefore,inthecaseofdisputetheovenmethodAisthereferencemethod.
